wow my bad - I'm sufficiently embarassed

tufat I know you're a v good player and everything, but this is nuts IMO against a typical 200NL player at FTP. I play these games all the time, and I feel we get called by worse like never. Maybe you tend to play against more thinking villains? I know you're crazy and all, and I don't know much about your game, but in the last CR vid I saw you didn't seem *THAT* crazy.

I think the most important part of this is what do you think ahnuld thinks of you?

[/ QUOTE ]

I am a complete unknown - We have no history whatsoever, and he is never playing 1/2 so I imagine he has no stats on me.

Seems like it's clear call from the responses. I guess I put to much weight into the idea that he wouldnt be 3 barreling an unknown at 200 NL.

Thanks for feedback all.

You were right, I wouldnt be, but I would also vb like QJ+ so you beat 2 of the hands I could be betting here. Given that and the small chance I do decide to bluff here its probably a call but not as close as many people make it out to be. raising for value is out of the question.

The river K seems like an awful card to 3-barrel with against an unknown.

[/ QUOTE ]

it really really is. Any ace, 9 Q or T are much better cards to fire a 3rd barrel on if I have complete crap.

Your hand is basically face up when you call the turn bet...

Was it obvious for you what villain had?

Sure. While its basically true it doesnt really change that much. Its just such a bad bluff card that id prob. assume if he had a J he wouldnt fold it or if he had mid pair he wouldnt fold it. So even though id think some guy is weak im not just gonna fire always, the board has to help you out too, if the player is a thinking player that is.

kewl. I was thinking it's a snap call but at the same time a thinking player knows it's a horrible bluff card and that probably decreases his bluff frequency.
