[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Caring enough about fashion that you think somebody is a douchebag for doing something with an actual practical purpose strikes me as the epitome of douchebagginess and dumb, but oh well. I guess everybody's gotta get excited and feel they're separating themselves from the herd about something. [/ QUOTE ] If you're implying that I don't use a belt clip for portable electronics because I feel it "separates me from the herd," you'd be about as far off as you could possibly be. I mean, think about it. So if I put my ipod in my pocket - where nobody can see it - instead of clipped to the outside of my person, I'm the one trying to be different from the herd? Also, I pretty much always wear jeans and a black t-shirt, so again, pretty wrong. [/ QUOTE ] You're the one who said it makes someone look like a douchebag instead of it's just meh, so I'm calling it a big overreaction. |

I think a lot of people are just used to the weather where they're at and don't realize how practical undershirts are. They're non-bulky and usually invisible or close to it in cold weather, and in hot weather, they make it much less likely that you'll get huge pit stains on your outer shirt. They don't seem hateable to me, except when guys are wearing wifebeaters and look like they're just trying to run their guns, or wearing little bright strappy numbers that look fruity enough for chicks to wear.

i think a neatly trimmed beard is a good look, one of the few that has been 'back in style' lately that i actually like. IMHO it is fine to have your beard 'edged up' if you live in the hood like i do, but it should extend BELOW YOUR CHIN as well as up towards your cheekbones to meet your 'stache. chin beard with no 'stache is precarious but a few people can do it.

Saw the hugest tool on my flight back from taipei (to seattle) yesterday. He was wearing:
1. crocs 2. plaid american eagle (ldo) shorts, sagging about a foot 3. white polo shirt, collar up 4. toothpick in mouth 5. dark girly sunglasses (you know what i'm talking about) He did not take off the sunglasses or remove the toothpick from his mouth THE ENTIRE FLIGHT (10.5 hours) |
