I definetly think the Rockies are better than people give them credit for in the NL. Albeit that I probably just have a huge mancrush on Holliday and co., but I've always loved the Rockies since I was a kid... and now they've got a damn good team to show up.

Of course, with the Twins every run is crucial sice they never score. So yeah, watching this young, exciting Rockies team has been very refreshing.

If the Padres would ever lose that'd be great.
We need to sweep them to go 1 or 2 GB to have a shot still. Being 3-5 GB is insurmountable obvsiously with only 6 games after the Pads.

jesus christ, he is such a huge stud. i remember at the beginning of the year, i was scouting middle round picks that had huge potential, and i was all over holliday. got him in several fantasy leagues, and he has made amends. probably my proudest fantasy-related moment! Go Rockies!

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, only genius-level insight could predict that a player that went .326-119-34-115-10 in 155 last year could conceivably go .340-111-35-128-11 in 149 games this year. It's like two different players!!!
