i just watched the episode and i think its absolutely ridiculous how the AA/KK/AA hand goes down. hellmuth and shak [censored] HIGH FIVE each other while the dude is making his decision? wtf? hellmuth immediately stands up and then tells the crowd "I PUT IT IN THERE IN HALF A SECOND!" and then she says the same thing...i mean jesus christ, how ridiculous and out of line of both of them. and lol @ the KK dude actually calling after all of that [/ QUOTE ] I agree. I didn't watch this...so...wow. that was not cool. |

Re: Beth Shak -- from tonight\'s WSOP on ESPN
and to be honest, she plays really really really bad. move in w/ AQ when utg and utg+1 both already moved in!? she over played her hands just like those fish on 11s, 22s star sngs. I'm still wondering how she made to the FT tho.

Re: Beth Shak -- from tonight\'s WSOP on ESPN
One hand that occurred b/t her and Shenkar when there were 2 tables left (so obv wasn't shown on TV) was ridiculous:
Raise from early position, Shenkar in MP re-raises for approx 2/3 of his remaining stack, and Beth moves all-in from the SB (having both EP and Shenkar covered). EP folds quickly, and Shenkar deliberates for about 5 minutes, and then folds AK face-up getting around 6-1 to put his remaining chips in. Yes, 6-1. Everyone at the other table (my table) were going on about how sick it was to fold getting those odds, which was only correct if Shenkar put her on one hand, and one hand only: AA (and he held one of the Aces). Shenkar later said that she was basically giving off sick tells while he waited for him to decide, excitedly dancing around and fidgeting, which is why he folded. Funny anecdote: when he folded face-up, Beth apparently thought he had called, b/c she triumphantly tabled her two Aces and celebrated some more. |

Great call by Shankar with middle pair for nearly his entire stack. |

Re: Beth Shak -- from tonight\'s WSOP on ESPN
She's sort of hot for her age, in a cougar/swinger kinda way. The voice is annoying, her website is laughable, someone should kidnap her dog.
Her and Hellmuth were rediculous. |
