Going to Vegas, should I buy a money belt?

I'd suggest a money belt that goes around your waist, not around your neck. I have two money belts and you can put the bills in there w/out folding. I had around 20k in one of the smaller belts too all in 100's. It was bulky and I had to untuck my shirt, but it looked OK.

Keep your regular wallet in your front pocket and/or buy a front pocket wallet. You can get them at marshall fields. If you feel better w/ a money belt get one.
