[/ QUOTE ]Well I do agree with clown it's a theoretically great strategy, but the problem is that all you have to do is claim villager ONCE as wolf and the whole thing is shot.

I understand this and have so far never claimed villager first post as a wolf (been wolf three times), so for this game I think it's a great strategy. I will evolve eventually, but I'd like to play my first long game in a straightforward manner.

And Supine, don't worry about it, my first inclination as a villager is to say "I'm a villager" as well so everyone knows

But how does everyone know? I've said I'm a villager as a wolf before, so it's moot and means nothing

It will of course be useless after a while, but for now it's a viable strategy.
