1. I'm in the U.S.
2. I'm on a Mac.

That reduces my choices to one: FTP.

I do have a PC, but the inconvenience of funding a new account and then having to switch back and forth if I want to do anything else while I play keep me from setting up with Stars.

Buy Parallels it's $80.

I'm working off a deposit bonus for now, but I missed out on the rakeback. I know, OMGWTFBBQ!!! Also, I love the software compared to Stars.

The graphical last hand window for FT is so much better than the text window on Stars. When I'm playing a few tables I don't have time to read if someone was in middle position or on the button.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is, features wise, the one thing FTP has that I wish stars would do (I can live without 'bet pot' as that button makes it too easy for donks to come close to betting the right amount...)

As far as RB and DMing, if you're a high volume player, both of those should be negligible factors. SN on stars works out to low 30s RB (depending on game), and if you play a ton, you'll have hands on all your usual opponents anyway without mining. It's really rare for me to sit at a table with more than two people who don't have PAHUD stats popup immediately.

Also, the look of Stars software tilts me. I just want to be at the bottom of every table, that is all.

[/ QUOTE ]

That option was added like 10 updates ago at Stars.

The reason i play FT not stars is

1. I have never liked stars software

2. I have never done well playing there(I havent exactly crushed tilt either)

3. They dont offer rakeback.(fpp to me no matter what anyone says is not the same at all)

4. Even with the crappy bonus' Tilt offers they give away more money

5. New ironman medals and fulltilt points

FT Pros:
- Rakeback
- Datamining

FT Cons:
- Collusion
- Bots
- Site Crashes
- Account Hacking
- Support blows
- Cashout Troubles
- Random account freezing

[/ QUOTE ]

cons? i guess im lucky
-collusion as much as anywhere
-bots dunno if i even believe this but it is a problem
-Site Crashes 30-50% of the time stars goes down at the same time
-hacking on tilt is a MAJOR PROBLEM THAT FULL TILT could fix easy or at least make it harder for people
-never had an issue with there support any more then any other company hiring incompetence
-longest cash out I have had is 11 days with 2 weekends. I believe there was a recent person that cashed form tilt ps and bodog ps took 7 days, tilt 10, bodog like 30ish
-account freezing is concerning however most are explained or are semi shady accounts. But is a problem

I like the way the software looks.

I don't have to play speed to play six-max limit.

Rakeback.
