Friend is a bad ass. I wouldn't have said anything to the thug and just capped him immediately. Pretty clear case of self-defense, plus you have the added bonus of not having to worry about this clown getting out on parole in 3 years and paying you a surprise visit. I'm sure his accomplice will get charged with 1st degree murder and enjoy his life sentence.

You dont have the right to kill somebody if you only feel your life is threatened I'm pretty sure to get off scott-free you need to be threatened with a weapon....wasnt there a thread similar to this involving a fight?

In this case the friend did the right thing for sure....although I'm not sure I would wait to shoot....but yeah in this case it was 100% correct
