anywhere to play it online?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not any more. GamesGrid used to spread it in a weekly tournament.

Occasionally somebody asks Stars to add it--- it would be a nice addition to their tournaments. But there's not much of a player base demanding it.

I've never understood why this game doesn't get more love. It's played no-limit, and it combines a great mix of math and bluff.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because its not hold'em.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think, next to holdem, this would make the best "TV game". It's easy to follow (unlike Omaha and Stud for the average viewer), and there's a lot of psychology.

Agreed. The youtube clips of the 2004 event were more enjoyable than any non-holdem poker I've ever seen on TV.

Hand #128 - Shawn Sheikhan Eliminated in 3rd Place ($206,676)

Hand #128 - Chad Brown has the button in seat 2, he raises to 170,000, Sheikhan says, "All in," and Brown asks how much. It's 240,000 more to Brown, who counts out the chips and pushes them into the pot. Sheikhan draws one card, and Brown thinks for about 20 seconds before he draws one card as well. Brown shows 9-7-5-4-2 (drawing the five), and Sheikhan shows 10-8-7-4-2. Chad Brown wins the pot.

Shawn Sheikhan is eliminated in third place, earning $206,676.

"one more wrong decision for the nine-millionth time."

But...I imagine it's not unreasonable for Steve Z to figure his T-7 is good when he makes the call pre-draw. I also suppose Barry might be standing pat on the draw with a worse ten, or jack, in order to induce a better made hand to break, sometimes.
