[/ QUOTE ] QFT. There's definitely a bubble, just don't know when it will pop. Cf. Chess boom in 1970s for more details, when Church's chicken was paying $100ks for top finishers. These booms dont' last forever.

Najdorf, the chess boom (Fischer on the cover of Time) is over, but there's more playing in the tourneys. So maybe poker won't be on ESPN every night in the future, but it could still be hot.
And maybe if/when the boom ends, that doesn't mean we'll be back to pre Moneymaker levels. We might cool down to 2004-2005 levels.
