Re: ESPN Poll : Bonds, Griffey, or A-Rod in their prime?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Fact is none of these guys has been successful in the playoffs, [/ QUOTE ] In what world is .471/.700/1.294 (Bonds in the 2002 World Series) not successful? [/ QUOTE ] So Bonds in prime steroid form was playoff worthy, but Bonds without roids was what, worst playoff performer ever? Exactly why then should I choose him to win? |

Re: ESPN Poll : Bonds, Griffey, or A-Rod in their prime?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] from reading many of the comments here, I wouldve thought that Bonds had 4 or 5 rings. I wonder why that's not the case? Fact is none of these guys has been successful in the playoffs, but one of them was at least exciting - think Seattle vs Yankees, and then remember the spirit and competitiveness that Griffey brought to the table. As a matter of fact, I think that series alone make him the choice for me, but he had other great qualities in his prime too: his beautiful swing, his have fun at all times early years, and his defensive acrobatics to name a few. [/ QUOTE ] ? [/ QUOTE ] Nope, he's an idiot. |

This shouldn't be close. For the people not voting for Bonds, do you even [censored] know who Barry Bonds is? [/ QUOTE ] I know enough to not want him on my team. Why are the numbers the only important aspect for you kyleb? |

Were you around in 2001? Did you realize that Barry Bonds got intentionally walked with the bases empty?

[/ QUOTE ] But like taking Griffey is giving up about 60 runs a year (straight from RC difference). |
