[ QUOTE ]
Leveling is where you say something stupid and other people who are as smart as you realize you are being stupid on purpose and you all have a good laugh at the stupid people who dont know you are smart and think you really are stupid.

Now it starts to get complicated when you say something smart to someone who was saying something stupid on purpose. This is called being on a higher level. Now the person who was saying something stupid on purpose if he is as smart as you realizes what you are doing and then he can say something stupid back to you on purpose, or he can also say something smart back to you on purpose. Just like in poker its important to know your opponent and just what level he is capable of thinking on. However all the people who previously knew you were originally leveling now have to be on the same level to know which level you are releving on so its also important to know your target audience, because the only reason anyone says anything stupid is to look smart in front of other people, so you dont want to outsmart everyone and have them think you are stupid, otherwise whats the point?

This post is also a good example of leveling. Do I think you were leveling me asking about leveling, in which case is my reply to you a level or am I just not on your level? And if I am on a higher level are you smart enough to realize that and then just claim that your original statement actually was a level in order to make it seem like im dumb, or are you claiming it was a level because you are releveling my relevel? Or are you just failing at releveling my rerelevel?

So in short, leveling is like a staring contest at the special olympics only everyone is wearing face masks so you cant tell who is drooling and who isnt.

[/ QUOTE ]

Congrats, Alobar. You're the first person to have adequately explained El D's obsession with wearing a mask in public. It has nothing to do with hiding his identity and everything to do with preventing levelees from knowing they've been leveled. Drool is a serious effing tell!

I just copied it over in caps so you would see it. Is that ok or do we need to play HU for rolls to settle this?

The standard way to do this is to make the text in bold.
Just write the letter b in tags (< and &gt before the text you want bold, and then write /b in tags after the text to be bolded.
