Saw it Friday. Loved it. I have had a thing for Katherine Heigl since she was in My Father The Hero (a positively godawful movie, btw). Very very funny, and had some nice moments as well. I think I could have watched 15 more minutes of just the roommates busting the beard guy's balls.

LOL, at first I thought it was going to be lame, then I started to wish they would have ripped on him even more. That was some funny stuff. I just read that the DVD will have like 300 beard jokes on it from all the stuff they didn't use.

Has anyone seen it twice? I don't usually enjoy movies as much the second time, but was thinking of going to see it again with some friends this week (I saw it 2-3 months ago at a free screening so its not completely fresh in my mind). I liked it a lot the first time, but I'm surprised to hear it got good reviews...seemed like one of those movies that quite a few people like, but gets [censored] reviews anyways.

40-YOV and Anchorman are both immensley re-watchable, this shouldn't be any different.

This was greatness. Heigel looked hot again, everyone was funny. Could not have asked for more. Rudd is a genius! Apatow too for that matter.

probably better than 40 Year Old Virgin and on par with Anchorman

[/ QUOTE ]

So it's terrible? Won't be seeing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Bite your tongue. 40 Year Old Virgin was funny and Anchorman was comedy gold.

[/ QUOTE ]

Anchorman was awful. Really, really, awful.

I suppose it can't be stressed enough how funny EVERY character is in this movie, which is an element that makes a good comedy great.

Awesome frickin movie. I loved 40 YOV, and this one actually hit home a bit for me (I got married at 18, my girlfriend was pregnant with our first kid) the sweet parts are very well done, and the humor is awesome.

Took the wife out to a nice dinner, went and saw this, and then nailed her on every floor of the house while the kids spent the night at grandmas. Saturday was goot.

As good as Knocked Up is, I think Superbad is gonna be the comedy of the year.

This movie looks hilarious.

[/ QUOTE ]
FYI - it was written by Seth Rogen, the lead of Knocked Up.

Anyone who thinks Superbad looks good or that liked Knocked Up should check out this clip .
It's Michael Cera (George Michael from AD, kid in Superbad) standing in for Seth Rogen on Knocked Up.

[/ QUOTE ]

George Michael was easily my favorite character on Arrested Development. That clip is awesome. Looking forward to seeing both of these movies. Judd Apatow rules.
