I saw Gordon at last month's New Orleans Circuit Event. He was holding an autograph session and seminar in the lobby with full power point presentation. As I walked by I heard him telling the audience, "It really irks me that i am not given credit for coming up with the rule of four. It should be called "Gordon's rule of four" but i never get the credit. (calculating percentages- by multiplying number of outs post flop times four). At the tables he so desperately wanted everyone to know that he is the "expert". He also had that weird uncomfortable laugh that creeped the [censored] out of me.

I dont know how you didnt lose it on him. I mean, werent you really po'd by this? FWIW, I think Id have caused a major scene if he did this to me/my child.

[/ QUOTE ]

if you had made a major scene then you would have been the idiot.

gordon was minding his own business, probably tired from a long session of poker.

he wins the contest, probably feels a little guilty but damned if he gives the father the money back, feels a little awkward so he leaves.

i say leave the celebrities and poker pros alone and these things won't happen.

what's next, a poker pro is in a stall taking a dump and a bunch of fans reach over the wall and start asking for autographs?

Am I the only person who thought it was hysterical in the OP where it says "Jimmy Tran (maybe?? loose azn dude)" which basically amounts to "Jimmy Tran (or some other azn dude??)" Especially picturing Strasser while reading it, I thought it was great. Next time just say "Some asian dude" since you obviously can't tell them apart.

Let me get this straight. Youre saying his behavior in this instance is excusable? I hope youre joking, but if not, then youre probably just as big a jerk as he is. Give me a break. If he was in such a bad mood, he couldve just said politely: 'Not right now, Im not in the mood.' and simply walked away. That would have been fine, imo.
