You should be absolutely thrilled to go just about anyplace other than Red Lobster. Order whatever, it'll be better than choice #1.

I guess it's cool if you really want to try it. I think you should be sure to wear some protection. There's a lot of really bad stuff floating around that community.

Sorry it's busting my Outback cherry. I thought it was busting my Brokeback cherry.

Never mind.

Can't believe all you self-professed Outback pundits never mentioned the baked sweet potato.

By far the best thing on the menu and on par with something you'd get a real restuarant.

I'm wondering why Outback butter is so good. Specifically, the butter that they give you with the little loaves of bread, just in case it's different than the kind they broil the steaks with. Is it a honey butter or a garlic butter? It doesn't taste like either to me but perhaps I am mistaken.

Outback now has Clam Chowder on the menu as well. I tried some recently and found it tasty, with a lot of clams. I could easily stick to only ordering appetizers at Outback and be very happy.

I think a lot of people are making trying to make Outback into something it's not. It's a chain where you can get a steak for $20.

IF you take that into account, I don't think it's that bad. I frequently use the drive-up option and really can't complain about a steak, salad, and starch to-go for the price.

To compare Outback steak to Chili's or Applebees is blasphamous.....

Their mashed potatoes are mashed right before you get them. ....

There fries are cut from potatos within an hour from hen you get them also, so they are fresh.....

Where do you come up with this crap?

Only thing I remember about Outback is that the Bloomin' Onion always had raw batter inside of it. Foul...

Being Australian I was quite surprised at the topic of this thread. In Australia we have no idea that this chain even exists. So I read through and you guys have to be kidding me.

Alice Springs Chicken? Mad max burger? Shrimp on the barbie? Ribs????? Clam chowder???? I can't believe this crap.
