Your buddy shouldn't waste his time looking for love. His height puts him at too much of a disadvantage vs the rest of the field. Instead he should retreat completely and master the art of detachment. He should go Buddha. Once he is free of ego it will no longer matter that he is short and has a small penis and that women would rather have sex with a leper or a dog than him.

I never realized being short was such a hardship to dudes before this thread and another one like it a few months ago. I thought it was just mechanical things like sitting in a car - that was a little bit annoying, but not so much the social side of it.

i'd say getting him interested in a sport is a good idea. more fun than a treadmill, and probably more exercise too (especially if he's interested enough to do it often). that, and he can meet people who also like doing it.
also, op, is that avatar from command and conquer? it looks familiarly grainy.

Just came back from treadmilling with my buddy. He seems to be doing a lot better. He actually went to the gym yesterday on his own. I guess he started to hear himself breath like fat people do and it freaked him out. He said he's going to try and go every day even if we don't go with him. He also said he's having ramen noodles and watching a movie tomorrow after work with his female friend. Not a date she's more like a sister...but at least he's doing something.
