Go to the bank - ask them if you can have longer to repay the money - maybe 30 days. They probably don't want to use a collection agency over such a small amount of money anyway. They will probably charge you some interest as well.

Supposedly if you apply for a loan, they can't charge you for the overdraft. However I was told that by a somewhat shady lady at a Sprint store once, so take it with a grain of salt.

YID,
I do not know what state you live in, so this may not apply to you dependant on where you live. Even though you have reached the age of majority 18 you have not become an amancipated adult because you still attend high school. How does this impact you? Depending on where you live, the bank can take action against your parents. The bank most likely will not persue further action for a balance this small. Call the bank now and plead your case. See if they will allow you to pay principle balance only and ask them to waive the fees. The bank can do this. If that fails, your account will go to a a collection agency. Hopefully by then you will have some money and you can offer to settle with the agency or go on a payment plan. Don't let this become a way of life for you. Value your credit.
