Do we really need to nitpick plot loopholes to death every single week? I've been guilty of being down on 24 in the past but jesus, this was a damn good episode.
We need to just get past 24's silliness and just enjoy the show for what it is. If we look back at past seasons they were equally as absurd just that we never noticed it because the concept of 24 was new and fresh. This was an entertaining episode tonight and the next few weeks looks to be great as well.

Brag: My office phone is the same as the phones they use at CTU. Our IT guy is a 24 fan, so one of our ringtone choices is the same tone used for phones in 24.
Unfortunately, I only found out about this today. Obligatory nitpick: Buchanan would regularly press the wrong button to answer the phone.

Though we do yell things about setting up perimeters and such when it gets excessive.
