PROFILE: COMPLETE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD VERIFICATION
You have entered the incorrect amount. You must wait 24 hours before we will allow you to make another attempt. Our service department will be unable to assist you during this period.

Important:

Please check again on your statement for the exact amount in USD. If your credit/debit card issuer does not show the amount in USD, you cannot verify your card with Moneybookers. Do NOT try and guess the amount!

grr does this mean i cant verify my credit card at all

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, this part is ridiculous. I am in canada - went through setting up MB, just had the charge show up on my online MasterCard statemtne, entered the amount - and I got this same, stupid, f'n message.

I hate them all - but mostly Neteller.

epass has zero customer service, MB is stooopid, ACH Add Funds is useless, and for some reason I havent been able to find out, Instadebit rejected my first w/d yesterday.

I really, really, really am annoyed.

[/ QUOTE ]
This just should be for the limit increase...are you still able to use MB?

BTW, although this verification system IS annoying, it's not uncommon. EPassporte's is worse...there's isn't even a charge, it's some kind of preapproval that never shows up on your statement. I was never able to get a correct amount, and have been locked out after my two incorrect attempts. Been waiting for a response for weeks.

I was doing all this cause I was looking for cheapist way to deposit & did not want to pay $30 for wire transfer; already overtaxed, over service fee'd, renewal fee'd, licence fee's , etc just by canadian gov't

***anyways i dont have to verify exact $ USD amount on credit card, just do the address verification and u get this message

ADDRESS VERIFICATION – COMPLETED
You have successfully verified your address. This means that:

Your outgoing transaction limit has been increased by 5000 EUR.
***Credit/debit card deposits do NOT require prior-verification.
If you change your address you will not be required to verify the change.

I have done credit card verification and bank account/address verification is pending.. it now says my credit/debit deposit limit is $675 USD per 60 days, and outgoing is $9475 USD per 90 days period. I need to deposit something like $2500 USD to moneybookers using bank account transfer.. is there a deposit limit to bank transfer deposit? This is my first time doing a deposit thru MB.

Don't know if it was already mentioned previously in the thread, but I used my CC to deposit to MB and used the option "not for gaming purposes", and when I tried to load the money to PS it said I cant do it b/c it's for non-gaming purposes.

You mean a $2500 bank wire deposit to Moneybookers? Maybe there is a limit, but $2500 would be well under it. Just be sure to have all the bank wiring information correct.

Ummm...wow. I really don't understand all of the confusion over this. What does everyone expect will happen? Of course it won't let you, what would be the purpose of the box if it did??? Sigh.

Anyway, sorry to hear about that...hopefully it only blocks the amount you loaded by that CC, and if you load by another method, it will allow you to use that money. Good luck, and please let us know how it goes.

So I just had a ridiculous encounter with Instadebit. I asked both their online chat cs rep and a telephone cs rep about the verification deposit that was supposed to have been made to my bank account. This is clearly outlined on their website here, under the VERIFYING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT
Header. Both agents had no idea what I was talking about, and just kept saying 'we don't make verification deposits' until I pointed them to their own webpage which contradicted them. At this point I got the 'contact security@instadebit.com' schpiel.

I only care about verification because it's supposed to result in increased transaction limits. I'm supposed to get an email from a rep (one who'se hopefully in the know) tomorrow, I'll post back with a TR.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did you get that sorted out yet? I created my Instadebit account on May 7th and the verifcation deposit just showed up on my online banking statement. I entered in the amount at Instadebit and my 7-day limit is now $1000.

Will provide a trip report on the withdrawl back to the bank account once my Empire Casino cashout is processed.

Im starting to get reallllly pissed at C2P. I still havent got my money. 2 Days ago I logged into my C2P account and the money was there, I was like WTF! I send them an e mail and they respond there was a problem with my withdrawal, but I can cash out again now and it will be fine. So I cash out, 2 days alter still no money on my debit card and wondering if there ever will be...

So just to confirm, I can set up a USD Account at my Canadian Bank, then register with MB and deposit/withdraw money from that US account, thus negating the need for any currency conversion or check sent through the mail?

Instadebit got back to me today. Apparently the verification deposit is only for new signups. I signed up only 2 weeks ago so it must be really new, which could also explain (but not excuse) why the CS agents had not heard about it. Still sucks for me though, because I really wanted the transaction limit increase.
