I voted for KFC but how the hell has no one mentioned Sonic's yet? That is easily the winner.

I dont want to be that guy taht starts a tipping thread, but when you go to sonic, and use the drive through, do you tip the car hops? What about when you pull into one of the spots?

(Another re-run post from YTF, I've probably posted this story a dozen times by now)

A McD's in North Las Vegas (LV Blvd and Lake Mead) started offering a buffet in the early 90's, when I first moved to town. My gambling problem left me enough money for one meal a day, so it often came there, as this store was on the bus route between the downtown motel room I lived in, and the NLV casino where I worked.

(brief pause, while I marvel at just how "degenerate" that last paragraph portrays me.)

It cost about $5-6. They had a section of the dining room roped off for the customers who chose the buffet option. You'd walk up to the counter, tell them you want the buffet. They ring it up, and ask what you wanted to start (my standard starting line-up: QP/chz, Filet, FF, Diet Coke).

You'd bring your food to a table in the buffet area, and enjoy. A waitress (in a McDonalds uniform) would come by from time to time, asking if you wanted anything else ("Yeah, a 10-piece nugget, and a refill on this Diet Coke, please--on second thought, make it a chocolate shake.").

It only lasted a month or two. The same fatties were there every day, eating at least $12-18 worth of food at a sitting.

I tend to think that I'm partly responsible for why you don't have a buffet at a McDonalds near you.

(My wife worked at a KFC buffet when she was in high school.)

Phil: Your business analysis of McDonald's delivery is idiotic.

All: As someone said a bit ago, I'm surprised at the lack of Jack in the Box support. I think the huge variety of their menu makes them the winner here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just because there's a lot of variety doesn't mean that I would enjoy eating it! Wendy's just tastes soo much better then any other fast food, especially that new five alarm chicken sandwich...amazing.

This blows my mind. The first time I got Chick-fil-a nuggets I seriously thought there was something wrong with my food.

Tiny scrappy little things with hardly any breading. No thanks.
