I think I had Toronto in 6, but I also mentioned I kept going back and forth on it. I have a hard time betting against Kidd versus an inexperienced team. I also wasn't banking on Mitchell being a scaredie cat and sitting Bosh for most of the 1st half with 2 fouls.

Pretty much EVERYONE in the NBA Playoffs thread took Toronto in 5/6/7, yet almost everyone so far is saying Toronto is in the most trouble. You guys are fickle.

Though Toronto probably is in the worst shape of them all.

SA/Den - i keep hearing the Nuggets played perfect,

This is what I keep hearing, and it just goes to show you how little people have seen of the Nuggets. Melo and AI's performance was just above par over the last month or so, but the rest of the team played like poop. In the last month, that's the WORST I've seen them barring the Toronto game. Their bench didn't get involved, and none of the supporting cast moved without the ball, which is the Nugz bread and butter play.

Still, I have a hard time giving the series to the Nugs just yet.

BTW, Allen had been struggling mightily from the line, so he did improve there. Melo got a tip from MJ, and has been hitting his threes at a nice clip in the last 6 or 7 games.. Which is ironic considering MJ wasn't that good a 3 pt. shooter.

Camby needs to hit his 18 footers though, he's been missing those a bunch as of late, and he was pretty much automatic throughout the year.

Question: Why does Dallas struggle with GS but do ok versus the Suns, who seem to be everything GS is but better? Now I realize that Dallas doesn't dominate the Suns, but its not like they've only won one game in two years against them.

Unlike Phoenix, GSW has big guards (Baron & Rich) that can punish Dallas in the post. This puts Harris & Terry in a tough spot.

I don't recall ever seeing Baron or J-Rich posting up.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought they like to back-up opposing guards to about the 15ft range, and work from there. I guess this is further than where traditional post players like to work from, but I think it's still effective.

Other than that, I'm not really sure why GSW could give the Mavs so much trouble. Maybe it's their defensive schemes against Dirk, who seems like he often plays sub-par against them.
