Well in all fairness the guy quit a job as a taxi driver. If I had to guess, he'd have a very easy time getting the job back if he chose to.

Also, Missouri is the [censored].

[/ QUOTE ]They would welcome me back with open arms.

There once was a Midwestern cabbie,
Who's job made him seriously crabby.

He got into poker (the low-limit kind),
WTF did you say? Was he out of his mind?

He quit on the taxi, so now hits the mouse,
To make all the plays that will pay for a house.

At three dollars a clip, he'll multi his way,
To busto or riches, it'll happen someday.

We all wish him well but have seen it a ton,
The player that thinks he will win every one.

Some advice to the cabbie, the one with few bucks,
Low limits is fun, playing pro really sucks.

Whatever you do, don't tell people you're an "Internet Poker Professional" (as listed in your profile). I don't care if it is your main source of income, I don't consider someone who plays $3.4 sngs a professional...and I think it would be embarrassing if someone asked you the stakes you play.

[/ QUOTE ]When I wrote that two years ago, I was playing $100, $200, and $400 PLO tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then why do you say, " Today I became a pro"?

As a taxi driver, how flexible were your hours? Seems like a good job to have, while transitioning to going pro if the hours are flexible.

Living off a roll for the 3.40s is going to make it very difficult to live
