Went from 7.2K --> 6.2K playing 200NL in the last 24 hours...

yes this doesnt belong in this thread. but i send you a hug anyways.

Your criteria sucks. Lots of people play NL with a 30 buy-in roll, and 10 buy-in downswings are totally standard at NL200+.

He's talking about net worth, not bankroll.

I was stuck 8 buyins at 5/10 the other night on a 50-55 buyin roll, but ended up -2500 at the end of my marathon session.

Also, first time I ever took a shot at 2/4 I had around 14k. My low that night was like -4k and I think I ended up around -2k. I kept playing the game and never looked back.

I have lost 25% of my total roll in 15 minutes moving WAY up and open pushing. I think I have a gambling problem lololol

[/ QUOTE ]

now this is gold. how log did you feel like crap for?

I do this all the time. Luckily i cashout 1k whwnever i reach 1.5k. When I tilt at all, it's usually my whole bankroll that I have online. My bankroll is about 6k right now and last week i had 1.2k online and was about to cashout and went on tilt and lost like $100 then immediately went to 10/20 and basically open pushed. I expect this to happen everytime and luckily only deposit $50 when I play so when I lose its no bigge.

Never from tilt or playing above my roll, but losing 10% of your roll is pretty standard if you're not a BR nit. I'm a BR nit, so it doesn't happen that often to me.

My worst day was ~ 5%. I've lost over 10% of site bankroll a couple times, I assume that doesn't count.

It's about to become more likely though because I'm dumping a good chunk of my roll into a house and not moving down.

I don't think you get into "able to really lose it" territory unless you've done 20%+ w/ majority tilt.

I think people who are capable of losing 10-20% but not likely to lose more are right in the sweet spot as far as risk/reward, maximizing earn long run, etc.

I can't handle it mentally.

When I just started I built my roll up to 8k and lost it all playing 15/30 limit

When I had 40k roll I lost 20k playing 10/20

When I had a 60k roll I lost 30k playing blackjack

When I had a 100k roll I lost 40k playing 10/20 and 25/50
