If you got into stern scholars you'll automatically get a scholarship of some kind.

I know a couple kids in CAS and Stern scholars all have merit scholarships ranging from 4-26k a year.

Got into my grad school program at UW-La Crosse where I'm currently going. Was 99.9% sure I would get in so wasn't really that big of a deal, but still cool I guess.

yeah thats sweet, what is the program?

education

I've got this silly idea in my head about working in the business world and teaching business/econ classes too.

I got in at Ohio State and Penn State for physics, offers were 17k and 22k TAship respectively. I didn't apply to the very top places because I didn't start until Jan. 1st, but probably wouldn't have gotten in anyway.
Does anybody know about either of these schools? I visited OSU and was impressed by the program plus Columbus seemed pretty nice, but there are less profs doing what I'm really interested in. I have heard some kind of scary stuff about Penn State, but there are tons of profs doing stuff I like plus they offered a little more $, so I am leaning toward going there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penn_State has a lot of info on Penn State Haji.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...part=4&vc=1 was an informative thread for me when I was trying to decide on Penn State.

Also, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/...play.php?f=323 is a helpful forum.
