I think since she beat you.. She assumed she is better than a lot of poker players out there and prolly lost a SH*T load of money.. So just as she was about to post about her "BAD BEATS" in BBV you called her up and made her realize she just sucks and they weren't bad beats..

We finally talked last night (she called me) and I apologized for about a minute. She said she forgives me and that she's not mad anymore. Everything's back to normal. Thanks for the advice everyone.

First off your title is misleading. Second, this incident may have revealed what a bitch this girl really is. You probably shouldn't have said anything becauase people don't like being known that you let them win. I like it MUCH better without serious reasons. Telling her it was a simple goof, joke, prank would be better. Also, should have told her right away. I wonder if there's more to the story, because the guy was holding out so long. Did he tell the story at a key moment to cut her confidence or show her how in control he was, or something? Maybe subconsiously? I doubt we'll find out either way. It doesn't sound like she's mad about him being a goof; it sounds like she's mad that it wasn't just about him being a goof, but that he used that in a certain way.

On the other hand, maybe she's just nuts. But he still didn't handle this well.

If you're gonna do a goof, then just make it a goof and be done with it before it gets weird. Otherwise, you deserve at least a good part of the blame yourself.
