is there any way for an unsophisticated investor to take advantage of uranium PLUS the fact that uranium(and everything else) took such a big hit today? Such as an ETF?
i was screening some ETF's on yahoo finance, although they have a "speciality - natural resource" family of funds there was nothing specific to uranium. This would be the perfect time to drop some dimes into the uranium market |

Uranium stocks taking a pouding --> no more posts??
I had the brilliant idea to sell all my remaining U308 stocks (except RSC) early last tuesday. I've been looking from the sidelines for the last couple of days and now I believe it is the time to jump back in it. I'd like to hear from the few ones that follow uranium too. A lot of of stocks lost >25% in a week.. At the very least, I expect a bounce back... After that, I don't know. Please someone convince me that U308 is only a bubble because right now when I look at some companies, I feel like a kid in a candy store trying to decide what to buy with my limited amount of money. |

Misery,
IMO, there is nothing to worry about regarding U308 stocks. All boats go down with the tide and vice versa. A lot of people buy items that they want when they are 'On sale', so this will be one when it bottoms out. Short term, there is a lot of volitility. Longer term (2-5 yrs +) looks really good. China is currently building plants and will continue to build till 2010. Then they will assess their infrastructure and build even more. India is also building out their infrastructure. More plants = More U308, its that simple... |

The real question is: has the uptrend in equities over?
The answer is clearly no. Many stocks are now sitting at the 50 day moving average area. The area usually provides a good reward-to-risk entry into an existing long-term uptrend. |

Damn i was looking to pick up some U stocks, and all three(FRG,EMU,USEG) went up pretty good today. Did I miss a buying opportunity. Should I wait for another dip or should I buy into the momentum as it will likely go higher?
