Ok I know this wasn't at a fast food place, but last night I ordered some pizza sticks at a local pizza place and went to pick it up. The price was $8.84. I look into the change part of my wallet and I have 83 cents. I ask her if this is ok and I give her $10.83. I wait for my change but she doesn't give me any (OMG IS SHE TRYING TO STEAL FROM ME?). I then have to ask for my change and she realizes I didn't give her $8.83, and she gives me back three $1 bills. Ugh. I give her a dollar back and leave.
