[ QUOTE ] Bill Gates is known to play $3/$6 pr $4/$8 when in Vegas. [/ QUOTE ] I read that too somewhere. By my calculations in the 4/8 game: with a net worth of approximately $50 billion dollars, he has a bankroll of 6.25 billion BB. (Probably enough to cover himself for variance). [/ QUOTE ] Oh yes! How long would it take him to lose all of that assuming he never wins another hand ever? |

[ QUOTE ] There was a book about a guy who played 100k/200k with a billion dollars or something. Some texas banker. [/ QUOTE ] Are you talking about Doyle Brunson? [/ QUOTE ] No, he's talking about non-poker player Andy Beal, rumored to have a bankroll of $1 million or more. |

Bill gates is so rich that he could literally spend the rest of his life burning $20 bills every 5 minutes or so, and he'd make so much more than that on investment interest from his net worth that he'd still make money. |

He has a bankroll of 1 million, but he is not a poker player. [/ QUOTE ] Pssh. How is someone with a poker bankroll not a poker player? Read the other posts in this thread. He is certainly a poker player, and his most noteworthy achievement as a poker player is his bankroll of over one million dollars. |
