ppl die in middle east and you make big deal over a few hundred poeple

[/ QUOTE ]

well the earthquake in Pakistan last year was a much larger tragedy, its kind of an afterthought now, 70,000 does make 3300 seem a lot smaller

same goes for the tsunami 2years ago 230,000 plus so much destruction

the world is a [censored] up place

9/11 was a terrible event, but terrible things happen all the time

[/ QUOTE ]

Bad analogy dude. You're equating a natural disaster with a criminal act.

[/ QUOTE ]

well the US underproduces food, as do many 1st world countries, and 16000+ children die daily from starvation, which is a pretty [censored] way to die, thats pretty sick for tragedies that can be controlled(at least better than they currently are)

[/ QUOTE ]

How is the USresponsible for fulfilling the food requirements of overpopulated 3rd world countries? How does this equate to murder?

Your argument is terrible.

CAN A GOOD MUSLIM BE A GOOD AMERICAN?

I forwarded that question to a friend that
worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 Years.

The following is his forwarded reply:

Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is
to Allah, the moon God of Arabia.

Religiously - no. Because no other religion
is accepted by his Allah Except Islam (Quran, 2:256)

Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is
to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca,
to which he Turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam
forbids him to make Friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual Leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel
and Destruction of America, The great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to
marry four women and beat And scourge his wife
when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the
American Constitution Since it is based on Biblical
principles and he believes the Bible to be Corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the
Quran do not Allow freedom of religion and __expression.
Democracy and Islam cannot Co-exist.
Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation
under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind,
while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor
is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent Names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation....
perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS
in this country. They obviously cannot be both
"good" Muslims and good Americans.

Can we take this to Politics please? I'll bite. Why does everybody hate America so much, yet every third world resident is clamoring to come here. Why?, b/c those countries are by and large cesspools. Oh yeah, you will say this is because America is hogging all the resources, economic oppression blah, blah, blah. But really our way of life is just better. Europe hates us because we have surpassed them. The Arab/muslim world hates us because we are more prosperous. It is all jealousy. These left wing pinko intellectuals hate America because by and large they are failed people w/ vast shortcomings. They all get together in their universities and mentally masturbate each other, they have no concept of the real world. they only deal in hypothetical and utopian fantasies.

Remember the world is a cruel place, people die, wars happen, there are have and have nots. This has been so since the beginning will be till we all die.

Also, I am sick of hearing how GW Bush is so evil. The people that say this hardly ever have the same level of venom against the terrorists. It makes me sick, these degenerates have taken over the intellectual debates in our universities and have created two generations of brainwashed people who are afraid of voicing their opinion AGAINST those that hate their country. It is a sad day when the term "flag waving" is used in the perjorative.

End of rant.

at one point 70% of Americans thought that Saddam was behind the 9/11 attacks. People are stupid. Oh, and if anybody believes the loose change video, show them this.

[/ QUOTE ]

I must have missed this time, because as I recall 70% of the entire country thought Bin Laden was behind 9/11 from about 2 seconds after the second plane hit until right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

Here is an article from the Washington Post discussing a poll that showed sixty-nine percent of Americans said they thought it at least likely that Hussein was involved in the attacks. http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn...p;notFound=true

America and other industrialized do stuff that hurts the 3rd world all the time. Look at what our farm subsidies do to some of the poorest countries of the world. We back a familly in Saudia Arabia that doesn't share the wealth of its resources with its people.

Just because one person doesn't like a particular government's policy doesn't mean that they shouldn't want a higher standard of living. There is no hipocracy here.

Liberals don't hate America, they just have an opinion on how it should be run. When conservatives decided presidents shouldn't get blown, it didn't mean they hated America.

The osama thing. I spend more time criticizing Bush than Osama, because I have different expectations. I expect my enemy to try to hurt America, thats what make them my enemy. I expect my president NOT to do stuff to hurt America. When he does, I get pissed. Furthermore, it is by constitutional design that I hold my president accountable for his actions. Anyone who believes that criticizing our president is unpatriotic pretty much doesn't understand our system of government.
