Daisy Chainsaw Pink Flower
Heard this band on some college station around '95 and ran right out and bought "Eleventeen". The entire disc kicked major ass. Weird, punkish, trippy and catchy with hot NSFW Katie Jane Garside on vocals. |

I have no idea how to properly paste links so if this doesn't work I apologise.
TISM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TISM TISM, (stands for, This is Serious Mum), are an inde Australian group famous for never showing their faces, amongst other things. I once saw them live where for the whole show all they were wearing were balaclavas, and at the end of the show they beat the crap out of each other with rubber cricket bats. Check them out. |

I feel obligated to post a link to OK Go's Get Over It, which I think is one of the best singles of the last five years.

Leo Kottke Older video of my favorite guitarist. Leo Kottke wiki [/ QUOTE ] When I was a kid, my father had a few Leo Kottke tapes. I came to know him as the "credit card in the backyard" guy, and didn't like the music. It wasn't until a few years ago when I heard his music without his horrible singing that I came to appreciate how good he is at playing. |

Your Ex-Lover Is Dead - Stars Introduced in live shows by Torq (their lead vocalist and also of Broken Social Scene) as "a song for the person you [censored] hate the most." Melodic indie pop at its finest. Also, I <3 Amy Millan (female vocals and guitarist in Stars, also of Broken Social Scene). Photographic evidence here: Audio evidence here: Stars - Look Up.mp3 Stars - Calendar Girl.mp3 [/ QUOTE ] Oh man I love Stars! I hate their name though. |
