I was pretty disappointed in this at first because I immediately though of rock and roll high school, but when the guy mentioned something about the doors movie I thought it would be a pretty cool movie idea.

Ari Gold is based on Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel. I believe the concept for the show is based on Mark Wahlberg's life.
