Rivers. The young man has "it". And the ball he throws has a Montana like "please catch me" quality. Crisp trigger. Pocket presence. Good chance for a Brady/Big Ben type first season.

Nice to see Jamal Williams get his props.

If the coaches would have showed some trust in him last week there's a good chance they're 4-0

I am describing how the ball that he throws looks to me. He is completing 70% of his passes in the NFL. He completed 70% of his passes in college. He throws a Montana like ball. I remember seeing how Montana's ball looked in slow motion. It was soft, it had a good sprial yet an inviting wiggle as it approached the receiver. "please catch me". Rivers ball has the same.

As I said above, its a quality that I have observed in Rivers ball as it approaches a receivers hands. I saw it with Montana. I can't really describe it, other than a "soft" ball.

NC State receivers caught 70% of this ball. Chargers receivers catch 70% of this ball. Just like Cal receivers caught 53% of Kyle Bowlers balls, and Ravens receivers caught 53% of his balls.
