Manny Ramirez (Red Sox)
Pedro Martinez (Red Sox)
Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Grant Hill (Duke)

How wrong is it that I am a big Yankees fan and probably my 2 favorite players of my lifetime have been Manny and Pedro?

I can't really think of any players I like on the Patriots or Dolphins.
For coaches, I've always liked Bellichick and Parcells even though they've always been a pain on the ass with respect to my rooting interest. They both seem like they would talk football and its history for hours if you ran into them at a bar (even though they're both dicks to the media).

I have a very, very hard time believing this. I would love to get some input from someone who has been to both places (El Farolito would be an easy reference for SF tacos).

Anna's is ok. I mean, it's great for a quick $4 meal. but there are far far better burritos that cost $2 or $3 more.

I lived in Boston from 2000-2005, and NYC from June 2005 since. I must say, Boston fans hate NYC MUCH more than NYC fans despise Boston. New Yorkers are more nonchalant and don't care as much. Maybe winning breeds complacency?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would say this used to be the case, but ever since the Red Sox won the WS and fans began to invade Yankee Stadium more, the hatred is becoming much more 2 way.

during the late 90's and early this decade the 'rivalry' was pretty sad.

There are far better burritos that don't cost $2 or $3 more, like Boca Grande on Mass Ave just north of Harvard Square.

And back to the original subject:

Joe Sakic (Colorado Avalanche)

Mike Mussina was my favorite player when he played for Baltimore, makes it difficult now that he plays for the Yanks.
