This whole thing serves as a useful reminder of the fact that there are few true conservatives on these boards.

Sorry, but democracy's attendant liberties depend on what most people prefer on voting day, not what you prefer.

You appear to need a lesson in Constitutional democracy. Let me just say, until the First and Fourth Amendment are repealed, I stand by my earlier statement which you conveniently edited and took out of context. Not surprising from a Bush sychophant.

[ QUOTE ]
The New York Times yesterday outed the monitoring of the financial transactions of the international banking institution called Swift. The administration and two members of the 9/11 commission pleaded with the Times to spike the story, they refused. There have apparently been some successes, including the capture of al Queda operative Riduan Isamussin the mastermind of the Bali bombing. The Times hatred of this administration has gone too far, this is a huge blow to the tracking of terrorist financing. The only people who should be pleased are Al Queda, the only beneficiaries of the information.

Anything that hinders the government's ability to track any finances of anyone is fine with me.

The whole damgaged national security thing has been taken as a given on Fox News radio, a dubious assumption.

Cant you guys (vultresrow, ac player, natedogg) vote for Feingold so we can end this nightmare? Hes a capable guy.

I hope you were being sarcastic in saying that was in any way a satisfactory response to the two letters he posted.

yes, see it. It was totally non-responsive and repeats the arrogance that Snow pointed out.
