I don't think David Wright gets enough love.

If Arod could play short I'd rather have Wright than Cabrera at third. But where else do you want Wright to play? He only plays one position and he doesn't hit enough to be the DH.

I just think he should be our 3b in our configurations that have ARod at SS.

C- VMart
1b-D. Lee
2b-Utley/Tejada (vs. righty/lefty)
ss-Arod
3b-Wright (Cabrera is terrible on D, might as well just put Thome there)
lf-Pujols
Cf-Jones
RF-Vlad
DH-Giambi

Lineup actually wouldn't matter that much; I'd go
Giambi (OBP does the trick)
Lee
Pujols
Arod
Vlad
Wright
Jones
Utley/Tejada
Vmart

SP-Pedro
LR-Johan
CL-Rivera

Why not go further?
Bench:Tejada/Utley
Brian Mccann
Bonds
Edmonds
Neifi (just joking-Macias, no wait, Ron Coomer, hard to leave any of these guys off, Stairs? The correct answer is I don't know-guy who can play non-terrible defense at all infield positions and run a bit, maybe Michael Young)

RP-Wagner
RP-Clemens
RP-Peavy
RP-(a magically healthy) Gagne

If you have anyone at DH other than Ortiz, you clearly haven't beern paying attention for the past 3 years.

The same can be said for those who without thinking put Manny in the lineup. The fate of the world and Manny decides to not run out a ground ball?

Hafner is a very defensible choice for DH.

Manny's not a defensible choice for LF.

Edmonds should not be the backup CF at this point in his career. Vernon Wells is much better offensively and defensively.

if these aliens wear uniforms that look anything like the Yankees, then Ortiz is the clear DH choice

2b Polanco
SS Guillen
3b Inge
LF Monroe
CF Granderson
RF Ordonez
DH Young

SP Rogers
LR Bonderman
SU Verlander/Zumaya
Cl Jones
