namely those concerning the limitations of capitalism.

[/ QUOTE ]

While capitalism may not be the simpleminded evil that many have portrayed it to be it still stands in the way of a free society if based on property rights.

The legitimacy of property claims is a philosophical impossibility for a free society. At some point in time previously unowned property must have been claimed by someone and that person's claim is no better than yours or mine and can hold no legitimate authority in itself. Rights of use through cooperation and contract is the only solution for a free society.

I didnt mean that the N-word in itself is the most aggrevating form of racism. It was specifically the fact that he had sucked up to the black guy, then been racist behind his back.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK so he's two faced. That's the character flaw. If that's the reason you disapprove then I don't see what it really has to do with racism, other than incidentally. Would it have been much different if he was sucking up to him and then behind his back called him a spineless douche bag?

Half the people where I live are actually either Indian or Asian.

[/ QUOTE ]

And the other half are kangaroos, right?

Oh you suck. When I listen to Jim Croce I just feel like a better person. Something about his music is so real and inviting. You feel like he is really talking to you.

And his personality is just so great and laid back. "If you dig it, do it. If you really dig it, do it twice." That's one of my favorite quotes.

Why does this thread have 60+ posts?

Do we need a 100-post thread about the sun coming up this morning?
