Re: my shoe collection
[ QUOTE ]
Women do notice shoes. [/ QUOTE ] Ding. Lots of girls I know tell me that's one of the first things they notice when meeting a guy for the first time. |

Re: my shoe collection
ae,
For any guys trying to hook up w/ old black convicts, that is solid advice. As Ja points out, women look at a man's shoes a LOT. |

Re: my shoe collection
i actually just like shoes and clothes a lot. when i walk into a good store i feel the same way i do as when i walk into a sweet car dealership or something. just love the stuff. don't really think about using it to get girls - that's what money and drugs are for.

Re: my shoe collection
WTF HOW'D YOU GET A LBJ AS A GIFT I WANT YOUR FRIENDS TOO.
Maybe you can go, "yea you should do this, save $X, and insert LBJ2 here. Or you know what, just make them your avatar. Hasn't it been forever since you had an avatar? PJ, I've worn that Diesel shoes many times. Easily one of the most comfy shoes evar. Honestly, I think EDGF REALLY needs a wardrobe collection to feed everyone's ego. Maybe I'll start it since I don't have that crazy of a wardrobe and everyone'd be like "hell yeah i can beat this hamster's wardrobe look at mine." |

Re: my shoe collection
[ QUOTE ]
Every guy that lives in sunny weather should have at least 1 pair of Rainbow sandles. [/ QUOTE ] QFT. I've owned 6 or so pairs of Rainbows. Each one lasts me about a year or year and a half (which is an incredibly long time when you wear them about 5 days a week - most sandals (Reefs, etc) don't last me anywhere near that long). They're also extremely comfortable (after the break-in period) and, imo, are the best looking sandals for guys. (These pics don't do them justice. Once they wear in, they look great.) I currently wear these two: I just spent a while trying to find pics of my shoes online, but I couldn't even find any. I'll get some pics up and post the rest of what I wear tomorrow, if there's any interest. Nothing fancy, but I do wear a colorful pair of Pumas a lot, that most people probably won't like. I really like them, though, and get complimented on them a lot, so whatever. |

Re: my shoe collection
duke,
Niiiiiiiice. Those look really comfortable. The place where I got my Rainbows didn't have those in my size, so I got a pair that are probably a bit thicker and don't have the nice fabric-velvety stuff on them. JaBlue, seriously, get some Rainbows. If you get them and don't think they are worth it, I will personally refund you. Used to think they'd be the same as Reefs/Quicksilvers but they are just so much more comfortable. |

Re: my shoe collection
Someone above mentioned that his girlfriend didn't like a particular pair of tennis shoes of his. Serious question: how do adult males that always wear sneakers have girlfriends?
Brown: Black: Boots (I live in DC, but I'm Texan): Work boots: Sneakers (except in dark gray with white stripes): Running: Soccer: Also plain brown leather thong sandals and navy flip-flops. |

Re: my shoe collection
Yeah, I love them; they're five years old, probably a half-size too small, and they feel like I'm wearing socks. That said, haven't noticed too many other people wearing them. Most opt for some sort of high-speed plastic-lookin' things.
