Re: 100/200 vs aba
yeah but then I'd realize that aba's shoving range in this spot is wider and call more, AT would be an instacall. If this is against benyamine or Jman there's no way I fold

lol. isnt this aba the 'allin whenever I have a flush draw' aba. push the chips but i cant guarantee he will outdraw u out of nowhere [/ QUOTE ] LOLOLOLOL. he says he had QT of diamonds and I STAND CORRECTED. If you are folding AT there, thats the reason these jokes get to play 200/400. But if u didnt fold river wd be a diamond anyways. Hard to play lucksacks. |

Re: 100/200 vs aba
Wow. On one hand I feel disgusted and get headache every time I see Metallicafan posting a bunch of words in a line without any meaning... On the other hand, when the pain slowly disappears I become very relaxed.. knowning even if fish will find sources like 2p2 to educated itself, it will still fail due to its intellect and ignorance.
You sir are one of the reasons I do play that game. Good fold Stinger, given your information and the image of Aba I like your line of thought. |

Re: 100/200 vs aba
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] OK time for results I think. I actually folded. Here's my take: although aba knows that I'd sometimes lead the turn with air, that would just make him more inclined to call the turn with KQ or KJ, not shove. I think his range comes down to any set (yes he can coldcall pre), small chance of AK, maybe AT (but maybe he just calls the turn), QJ, and the only hands that I think I beat, JTd and QTd. The only other possibility I see is JT or QT with no fd, but I don't think he'd push that. As actionjeff and some others pointed out my hand plays pretty poorly against the range I gave. [/ QUOTE ] I think this is very good analysis. This time I had QT of diamonds but I think it was a very good fold considering my range. [/ QUOTE ] doesn't that mean you should be shoving this spot with anything, not just very big draws? AT is way toward the top of his range to bet the turn and its a fold so... What am I missing here? [/ QUOTE ] AT isn't way towards the top of his range here. aba couldn't open that range up as he can't be sure about getting AT to fold (replies split) w/ his current range. It's also a struggle to open his range up here as it means more flop floats which means more cost on the bluff. Most importantly, this spot is def. not the best spot to open his range up. You only have a limited amount of times you can open your range up before players start adjusting their ranges, so why waste one of them on a situation here which isn't great. |

I can't see folding when he could be doing this for value with a worse hand. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: 100/200 vs aba
Is that bet sizing standard? Full pot flop, then >4/5ths turn?

Re: 100/200 vs aba
saying it was a bad fold because had Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is just as results oriented as saying its a bad call because he sucked out.
you were well behind his range |

Re: 100/200 vs aba
fwiw i probably made it seem like too clear a call when i typed callcalclclalclalcall. I actually think its really close... i just felt like typing calclclalcllaclla at the moment. That said... i definitely am calling this on your name vs aba. On my name i'm actually more prone to fold i think... however im still calling >90% probably
