Re: Worst acts of banroll management you have ever seen....
I have a friend who is grinding NL10 and was pretty happy to be up 350$ after one month (which is more than decent for NL10).
He some how saw an ad for a software that could "beat the RNG" and could somehow predict the flop before it is dealt for 500$ only !!!. I tried to talk him out but he didnt listen and bough it for what was his roll + his monthly profit. |

Re: Worst acts of banroll management you have ever seen....
It gives 3 cards that are supposed to be the flop, seems to be less effective than randomness so I guess it could be used

Re: Worst acts of banroll management you have ever seen....
My friend who still owes me $4k to this day managed to win the sunday million once on stars for about 185k, and 12 hours later after playing 200-400, 500-1000, and a few 25-50 NLs was broke and was calling me to send him $11 to play an $11 multi. True story. HEEEEE HAWWWW

Re: Worst acts of banroll management you have ever seen....
I was coming back from hospital after a minor surgery & was on pain killer, I was thinking that I shouldn't play poker & go sleep because I might not have all my head.
once at home, the 1st thing I did, was to log on full tilt, & see Phil Ivey playing HU with David Oppeinhem on 15-30 LHE. I obviously jumped in the game ! -jpp PS- it was in 2004, & at this time that was the biggest limit on FTP, & at this time, a FTP'pro could site on a mid-limit'table without to have a 100'names'lineup on the waiting list. |
