some rufus guy raped me in tourney 5 with a str/att/def build, he was hitting for 300+ and i was hitting for 200 with the level 42 str mace at level 12... wtffff?? he wasn't even the boss

Strength/Defense build works well to start as well.

i'm not sure if saving lets you go back to before you died, or just lets you quit and start playing again later

Are some of the random events always bad? Ive never had a positive outcome w/ the saving the girl in the well. Always -3 Strength

There are a few bugs in the game that really suck due the lack of a save feature. If you ever get cornered, it can be impossible to do anything and your opponent gets to take turn after turn while you watch helpless.

Also, you've beaten my highscore. I'm coming out of retirement to take back the top spot.
