I'm still in FTOPS Event 5, table 62 if anyone wants to sweat me & see how horribly bad I am at all things poker-related. And if you want to see good play, kwob is two seats to my left (but short-stacked).

My one highlight of the tournament, where I pwn kwob20 in the first hour (but probably win less than I could've in hindsight):

40/80 Stud hi, ante 7

3 brings it in, it's folded to me and I complete with [Qh Qd] Qc; Q of spades is showing behind me. Kwob raises with Td showing, bring-in folds & I call.

Me: [Qh Qd] Qc 7d
Kwob: [x x] Td Jc

I check/call. He catches Jd to my 5s on 5th, I flat call. 6th street brings boards of:

Me: [Qh Qd] Qc 7d 5s 8h
Kwob: [x x] Td Jc Jd Ah

He bets, I raise, he being good at poker & all just calls after thinking it over. We both brick on the river & he check/calls with 3 pair, aces, jacks & tens.

I can beat the hell out of these satellites & small-field tourneys, but I have yet to go deep in a large field event of any buy-in. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
