In the image above, it's only 20 hands on everyone, yet Cad Smith has already c/r a few times. Right now, I'd probably look him up with TPTK on a c/r.

Reads like this seem quite shaky. I prefer to just go on past experiences until I have a definite read (like seeing a showdown hand).

[/ QUOTE ]

well...this read is forced as it is only 20 hands. Having all the stats like that on a regular with 1k+ hands is fantastic as a read however. If I just go by notes/reads, I overweight some occurance that stuck out to me. The HUD provides stats that I can use to anchor and adjust.

MT2R, how many tables do you play at once?
I used to have a layout pretty much just like this when I played 8-12 tables. Now, however, since I moved to a different site I'm using less stats and playing less tables to really get reads on players. Do you think that having TOO MANY stats can be detrimental to your game? Do you feel that you make more money playing more tables with all those stats than you would playing fewer tables with fewer stats?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think the stats are detrimental at all. It is up to me, as the player, to use my knowledge and pick out the one or two key numbers that apply to the situation at hand.

I 12-table and it is awesome. I love my hourly rate and do not think I could do better playing less tables.

You all need to download some of the custom-made formats from the PokerAce HUD website... makes things so much more legible.

Better still... learn to make your own. You can fit a lot more information in a much more elegant way.

I know...I did it myself in a butchered manner

There's a great feature called "Combined Stats" that lets you put multiple stats together in one box seperated by a '/'. Like this:

First row is preflop stats, 2nd row is flop stats, 3rd row is turn stats and 4th row is river stats.

That's basically how I roll, only better. I think I may be stealing that when I get home. I don't have any Went To Showdown stats and I'm feeling stupid for it. Combined Stats ftw.

W$SD

[/ QUOTE ]

MT2R,

I really dont see the point of this stat with less then 30k hands.
And even then I dont see how it could be of any real value,
certainly not enough to put it in a HUD.

[/ QUOTE ]

of course it matters,
if I see a guy with regular stats, but a W$SD over 80%, I know that he is very tight postflop and won't be playing at me without something quite good.

[/ QUOTE ]

But wont you get the exact same information with WTSD?
