[/ QUOTE ] O RLY?  Ties in two team teases push at plenty of places including every sportsbook in Las Vegas (at least everyone I've been to). It explicitly says in SSB that if the first leg of two-teamer loses you are rooting for a push in the second leg.

Why is the gambler better off with a tie and a loss than a win and loss? Also, I chatted with Mansion's live support, and this is what they told me: MANSION Marc: RE: Hello, I have a question about 2-team teasers (American Football). Your FAQ says that "All ties are treated as a full refund regardless of a win or a loss." Does that mean if I tie one leg and lose the other leg, I get a refund? MANSION Marc: If one game loses the bet is lost I'm sure you know more about this than I do, I'm just looking for the real answer, and the notion that a tie is better than a win (if the other leg loses) doesn't make any sense, nor did Mansion's rep agree with this.

A win and tie is a push and you get your money back, therefore pushing the 2nd leg after a loss is the only way to get your money back. In teasers with greater than 2 teams a tie reverts the tease to a lower payoff but since this is impossible for two-teamers the bet is no action. I am pretty sure every online book pushes two-teamers that have a tie and in general FAQ or T&Cs >>> customer service when it comes to online books.

I am pretty sure every online book pushes two-teamers that have a tie. [/ QUOTE ] Many books grade a loss for loss/tie, including 5Dimes. (You can get Vegas rules at 5Dimes, but then you waive all bonuses.) Sportbet grades a loss for ANY tie.
