I'm going to disagree with the stance that party isn't at all profiting from the MONSTER rake...
while its true that party isn't directing taking the money directly from the cash players and using it to further their own profits...they are using it to provide a big overlay in a tournament they are receiving promotional value from...I mean if party poker decided to just jack the rake and then offered this freeroll as an actual freeroll for its promotional value it would amount to the same thing wouldn't it?? Cliff notes edit: party poker is offering a promotional freeroll which they arent paying for its being paid for by ring game players. |

Can someone tell me how much rake, expressed in BB/100 you are paying at the normal party poker tables and the monster party poker tables? (@ 2/4 FR). So I can compare it with the other sites:
Pokerstars: 0,85 BB/100 (3350 hand sample) Pokerroom: 2,51 BB/100 (5850 hand sample) Wow, that last result suprises me. Can someone confirm? I have gotten these results simply by doing to following math: ((Rake paid in $ / number of hands) * 100) / Size of BB) |

In about 3k hands I'm paying 1.83BB/100 hands at monster tables compared to 1.24 BB/100 in the 7k hands before that. I only have 3k hands in at the monster tables so it's a little too early to say, but over the last 3k hands I have not been doing as well as usual, so my rake for the monster tables is probably too low if anything.

IMO the Monster tables at Party are very good games. Better than the regular tables by a significant factor. I have no data or numbers to share with you, just my playing experience and feel for the games this past week. Oh, and all the extra $$$ I've been
pulling in. FWIW |

It depresses me. |

Anyone else get the 25/50 dollar casino bonus? Personally, I feel that if you end up a winner from that, it's basically rakeback for this Monster event.
I came up +85 on the bonus which is 170 raked hands that I win that is super raked from me. That'll last me a good while. |
