There is a VERY legitimate chance that the Dec. 9 game vs. the Patriots could be a battle of two 12-0 teams...that would be amazing!

Hopefully that game will be switched to MNF!

Obviously a hugely disappointing game, but I didn't think we played terribly. Missing Hines really showed, since Nate Washington is probably one of the 5 worst receivers in the league. The line looked atrocious and Kendall Simmons has to be on the way out. Hopefully Kemuatu can be ready by next year and we can get a guard in the 1st rd. I thought that aside from a few forced throws, Ben looked really good and I really don't sweat long throws anymore.

On defense, losing Troy was a huge blow and probably a deciding factor in the game. We don't really have anyone that can make plays on his level and hopefully he'll be back soon.

I thought we got hosed pretty bad on a few calls, but whatever. I thought Wisenhunt made a ton of in-game errors. I questioned the hiring of Tomlin at first, but that just proves that I'm a retard for not trusting the Rooneys' judgment. Tomlin looks like the real deal.

I think we really missed Hines' blocking and overall awareness. AZ kept bringing guys off the corners, and it couldn't have hurt if we had Hines out there to lay the wood on some DB's.

Nate Washington is brutal. I've had a lot of patience with his development; the guy does get wide open. Doesn't matter much when he drops two outta five thrown his way. Willie Reid looks encouraging. For a "vet" receiver, Ced Wilson and Ben have zero communication.

From what I've read Kemo is being groomed for Faneca's spot. Faneca spent a lot of time in the backfield yesterday. The blessing in disguise is that the OL has to realize they need to get their [censored] together for hostile road environments. That many false starts is unacceptable.

I think losing Casey Hampton was the real big deal on defense. We needed to stop the run and our run stopper was out. Naturally, CBS felt no need for any explanation.

Dan Dierdorf is the worst.

I have no clue what Whisenhunt is doing with his QB's. I'd understand if it seemed like they had a clear plan; instead, it seems like he's just trying to destroy their confidence.

McFadden out up to a month with a severely sprained ankle. Hines is probably gonna have to sit again and Troy, Hampton, and Ben are banged up but expected to play.

Can't get to the bye soon enough.

Nice way to go into the bye week, especially when we really need a week with all the injuries to major players.

The Steelers allowed 144 total yards. I think that's more impressive than allowing zero points.

Good time to get healthy.
