cool thread.

1) poker- $$$ financially aiding family at a young age rocks.

2) japanese cooking classes- I am a sushi lover, and was kind of sick of boring summer routine of not doing much, so I singed up for a japanese cooking class.

the teacher/ others were very nice people, we got to make whatever delicious thing we made everyday, and now I know how to cook japanese food .

Re: Setting up channels on your TV.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this is an option on every TV. Just go into the menu, and you can add/delete any channel you want. My TV cycles through about 15 different channels out of the 100 or so. Took some time to delete them all, but it's well worth it.

I guess this would be a royal pain if you have digital cable and 900 channels.

iPod. I didn't have one for the longest time, and my commute into the city is an hour and a half each way. This makes things better.

I'd have to say poker even though it's an obv answer. I never would've thought it'd have as big an imapact as it's had when I first started playing casually with friends. Next, I'd say living in NYC.

OOT

at first, mildly amusing

it turns out that i've actually learned lots here and gotten to laugh my way through most of my days. Whenever grey clouds gather, OOT is there to get me by. It's better than smack. Well, not really, but I don't do drugs anymore.
