Re: Things that say \"I\'m a piece of trash\"
[ QUOTE ]
I think Crocs are horrible, but I don't think they're trashy in the least. I see more weird hippy type leftie people (they really are the new birks) wearing them than anybody I'd consider trash. This thread demonstrates a poor understanding of what "trash" is. [/ QUOTE ] In addition: I refuse to believe that a pair of decent looking sandals cannot be made as comfy as crocks. What makes them comfy is the sole that nobody sees, what makes them hideious is how they encase that sole. |

Re: Things that say \"I\'m a piece of trash\"
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Nothing currently does this for me more than crocs. They don't scream "I love comfort", Birkenstocks do. They scream "I'm a piece of trash". A distant second is a pickup truck with some sort of "anti-the other brand of truck" sticker, or some absurd "patriotic" slogan on it. The bronze goes to dudes wearing excessive jewelry who aren't platinum selling rappers. Watch is ok. One bracelet is ok. One chain is ok. Even an earring or a ring. Fine. But you go to 3 or 4 rings, or several chains, or whatever, then you officialy score right at the top of the trash-o-meter. [/rant] [/ QUOTE ] clark - i think crocs suck - however - i know a few peeps who wear them and also make lots more than any of us could playing card games and are super avg and normal otherwise (except for the fac that they went to above avg schools) - so the fact that you used "trash" makes me thing you are wrong in a pretty big way. [/ QUOTE ] Poker players have a higher trash:normal ratio than most groups. Not sure at all that your post invalidates my point. |

I find neck tattoos to be fairly indicative of trash.
Teardrops too. |

[ QUOTE ]
I think you all sound like morons for turning the first Clarkmiester thread in I don't know how long into a grammar argument. [/ QUOTE ] Meh, this thread kind of sucks anyways. I just saw some crocs last night and realized that it is one of a very few things that instantly causes me to draw all sorts of conclusions about what sort of person you are. |

Re: Things that say \"I\'m a piece of trash\"
A few ones for me:
It's cool if your pants sag a bit just because they're too big or that's how their cut. But when you have your pants such that they're belted BELOW YOUR ASS you are a [censored] moron. Sleeveless T's are out in almost every context. Slightly less trashy, but still worthy of judgment: unironed clothing. Please do not go outside looking like your shirt was balled up to the size of a tennis ball this morning. |

Re: Things that say \"I\'m a piece of trash\"
[ QUOTE ]
Bulky cel phone proudly clipped on the belt. [/ QUOTE ] This is the one that makes me go . I work at a casual office (t-shirt and jeans, etc.) and I have a blackberry. It's too bulky to comfortably fit in my pockets, and I need to check it frequently throughout the day. It comes with a clip, so I attach it to my belt, and so does everyone I work with. I don't get why that is trashy/douchy. Edit: I only wear it while at work or commuting to/from work, i.e., not when I'm out casually, does that make it acceptable? |
