Prev,

The distinction is between things where you're lying within the context of the game and lying outside the context of the game. The latter is generally seen as scumbag behavior.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sums it up perfectly.

I can not believe the moderator is letting that comment from him slide after making a statement about insta banning anyone who trolls him. His comment is in effect goating people into trolling him. Isn't that what got him banned originally, a disruptive presence? He can rub cheating in peoples faces and we are supposed to be silent?

as a rule i never say a word when i'm in a pot and someone starts asking me questions.

bobby hoff has a great response when people ask him what he has : "i wouldn't want to lie to you".

[/ QUOTE ]

This afternoon I bet at a kid and he asked me a question. He said something like, "Did you miss a flush draw?" and I said, "What is the capital of Bulgaria?"

He didn't know.

Hear! Hear!

But alas, after Jamie Gold was allowed to run amok on TV with millions on the line, I expect a lot of people are going to be acting very badly.

Citanul,

i think the rule is in tournaments you cant expose your hand. in cash games you can flip up your hand technically depending on house rules. obviously there are variations to this, but this is why in many tournaments you can't talk about your hand either. cash game rules are very diff than tournaments.

I'm sorry, but which part of this hand isn't more or less just business as usual for a big live NL game?

lol at the people who think this is angle shooting...poker is about deception...its part of the game. he can say whatever he wants about his hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

like that he will call $5k preflop

[/ QUOTE ]

you must want people to hate you or something

[/ QUOTE ]

Like it or not (and I'm sure you don't), he has a point though . It's all in how you look at it. One guy lied about the strength of his hand, another guy lied and said he would call $5K blind preflop. They both said whatever they wanted about their hands. It's all apart of the game, eh .
