see, diving can [censored] you sometimes. You don't need to be banned for life.

Sometimes = 1/500 times you do it unfortunately.

yeah, but anything harder than a yellow is too game changing (of course getting a penalty also is but...)

[/ QUOTE ]

The point is that it almost never screws you, so correct strategy is to flop and flail away. It's really pathetic.

Just behind that in pathetic is getting a PK for an uncontrollable handball that had no impact on the play.

If you make the penalty harsher, refs would be less willing to make the call. It would also be extremely unfair to a player who just slips or trips, but gets a poor ref who makes a bad judgement call.

Even if Angola wins by 2 (tieing the goal differential), MEX still has the lead in goals scored and will advance.

[/ QUOTE ]

The way Portugal is playing, I don't think ARG or NED should have any concern at all. Mexico is dominating the match with just 10 men.

Portugal is winning with it's B-team and a tie garantees the first place, it's not like it matters much.

Portugul are very talented, but lose focus easily. If they can be disciplined, they could do some damage. Otherwise, it will be a quick exit.
