Re: The Tiger Woods of Poker
[ QUOTE ]
Who could run a faster 40? [/ QUOTE ] Prolly MJ, but I don't think he wins by that much if at all. [ QUOTE ] Who'd jump higher? [/ QUOTE ] lol, don't pick something that's right up MJ's alley or anything. Who could smash a golf ball further? I know, stupid question. [ QUOTE ] Who'd bench more? [/ QUOTE ] Tiger, no doubt about it. [ QUOTE ] If you were to put those 2 in other sports, who do you think would be more likely to dominate more sports? [/ QUOTE ] Depends on the sport. Baseball, MJ. Football, Tiger. (Although neither would "dominate") [ QUOTE ] And if you're talking talent, you're still crazy! MJ was completely dominant in a way that has only been paralleled by a few individuals throughout sports history. [/ QUOTE ] One of which is Tiger...his career stats/winrate is disgusting and nobody ever though it was possible. Ever. Pretty sure people could imagine someone winning 6 titles, maybe because it's been done before. [ QUOTE ] Has Woods been unquestionably the most dominant golfer through his physical prime? Hell no! [/ QUOTE ] Come back when you know what you're talking about plz |

Re: The Tiger Woods of Poker
And just in case you don't want to check that link, I'll give you the important stuff.
Tiger has won 26% of his starts. 61 out of 230. One out of every four times he tees it up, he wins. Jack Nicklaus played 594 PGA Tour events. He won 73 of those. That's just about 12.5%, and he is considered by many to be the greatest of all time. So yeah, it's pretty much unquestioned. |

Re: The Tiger Woods of Poker
I picked vertical leap because thats one of the standard measures of athleticism. If somebody can sprint, it usually means they can jump too.
Jordan also benches about 270, woods, according to a link from 2001, says 180. It's probably more than that now, but thats a big gap in 6 years. And did you really give tiger football? Seriously? If anything, you've got them the wrong way round, rotational strength and hand eye coordination would suit Tiger much more to baseball. |

Re: The Tiger Woods of Poker
180 lawl
Tiger is like a slutty chick in college. Whatever they say, times it by 2 and that's your real number. And really, I'm not here to say that Tiger is a "better" athlete than MJ. Just don't disrespect his dominance is all I'm really saying. |
